I. Introductory provisions
These regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") define the rules for the provision of services by electronic means, consisting in enabling Users to access the website of the Powszechnego Czytania Foundation (hereinafter referred to as the "Foundation"), operating at https://www.fpc.org.pl, as well as to use its functionalities, including tools for making donations for the implementation of the Foundation's statutory objectives (hereinafter referred to as the "Website").

The Foundation, as the entity providing the Service, operates in Warsaw (ul. Przyokopowa 33, 01-208 Warsaw) and uses the following numbers: NIP: 7010891702, REGON: 381776001, KRS: 0000756841.

The Website may be used by individuals with full legal capacity, including natural persons, legal entities, and organizational units without legal personality. Persons with limited legal capacity may use the Website in accordance with applicable law, including after obtaining the consent of their legal representative. All such entities are hereinafter referred to as "Users.".

The Foundation provides the Website's services in accordance with the Terms and Conditions. Users agree to become familiar with the Terms and Conditions and to comply with their provisions.

5. By using the Website, the User agrees to abide by the Terms and Conditions from the moment the connection is established until the connection is terminated. If the User makes donations through the Website, the Terms and Conditions apply for the period during which the User and the Foundation conduct activities related to the donation.

6. Within the Website, Users can browse the content posted therein, access tools enabling them to make monetary donations to the Foundation, and use other functionalities available on the Website. In particular, the Website enables:

• supporting the Foundation's activities by making a one-time or recurring online donation,
• receiving regular messages from the Foundation by subscribing to the newsletter,
• registering for events, webinars and conferences organised by the Universal Reading Foundation or in cooperation with it,
• downloading educational materials.

The current Terms and Conditions are available free of charge in the footer of the Website. The Foundation provides the Terms and Conditions in a form that allows them to be downloaded, saved, and reproduced in the User's computer system.

II. Technical and organizational requirements for using the Website

The Foundation informs that the minimum technical requirements enabling the use of the Website on the User's side include:
a) a device with Internet access (e.g. computer, telephone, tablet),
b) a web browser that supports HTML and JavaScript,
c) active support of cookies and JavaScript.

2. Using the Website may involve typical risks associated with using the Internet, such as viruses or unauthorized third-party interference. The Foundation recommends using appropriate security measures, including antivirus software.

3. The Foundation provides Users with access to current information regarding specific threats associated with electronic services, as well as information about the functions and purposes of software not included in the Website's services but implemented by the Foundation into the User's IT system. This information will be published on the Website.

Users are prohibited from posting illegal content on the Website. If the Foundation receives credible information about the unlawful nature of data provided by a User to the Website, it has the right to block it.

Individuals may use the Website without providing personal data, unless the nature of the activities performed on the Website requires it. Detailed information on personal data processing can be found in Part IV of the Terms and Conditions and in the Information on Personal Data Processing.

6. The Foundation enables donations to be made for the statutory purposes of the Foundation by providing access to online payment tools operated by third parties and provides information necessary to order a transfer of donations to the Foundation.

III. Donation Policy

Donations for the statutory purposes of the Foundation can be made:
a) by traditional bank transfer, including in currencies other than the Polish zloty, using the transfer details provided on the Website;
b) using online payment tools provided by third parties (hereinafter referred to as "Payment Operators").

2. Online payments are handled by Payment Operators:

• PayU SA, ul. Grunwaldzka 186, 60-166 Poznań, NIP 779-23-08-495, REGON 300523444, KRS 0000274399.
• Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., One Wilton Park Wilton Place, Dublin 2, D02FX04, Ireland, Tax Identification Number IE 3206488LH.
• PayPro SA, ul. Pastelowa 8, 60-198 Poznań, NIP 7792369887, KRS 0000347935.

3. On the Website, to access the Payment Operator's website, the User is required to provide the following information: first name, last name, and email address. All data collected by the Foundation is protected.

4. To make an online donation, after selecting the Payment Operator, the User is redirected to a website managed by the Payment Operator. The rules for making online payments, including donations to the Foundation, particularly for one-time payments, recurring payments, or targeted payments (for designated charitable projects run by the Foundation), are specified by the Payment Operator in each case, in the regulations or other similar document used and made available by the Payment Operator. Before making a donation, the Foundation encourages Users to familiarize themselves with the Payment Operator's rules for making online payments.

5. Rules for using the recurring donation mechanism:

• The Foundation provides access to a tool that allows Users to make donations through recurring payments. Users wishing to use recurring donation payments must complete the form available on the Website, providing the required data. Transactions on behalf of the Foundation are processed through the Payment Operator's systems, which enable payments, in particular, by ATM, debit, credit, charge, and prepaid cards.
• The User decides on the amount of the recurring payment.
• Details regarding the execution of online payments and the manner of their execution by the PayU payment operator are specified in the regulations applied by the above-mentioned payment operator, which the User can review at https://www.payu.pl/pliki-do-pobrania before initiating the payment.
  The first donation is collected on the day you pledge ongoing support. Subsequent payments will be made on the 10th of the month. If the first collection attempt is unsuccessful, the system will attempt to collect the donation again 15 days after the initial collection attempt, on the 25th of the month.
  As part of recurring payments, the User has the option to save their card details and place a standing order. The card details will be stored by the Payment Operator – PayU SA. PayU, acting as an intermediary in making the payment, provides a token tool (virtual card identifier) that allows the User to be assigned a unique identifier, which they can use to make periodic payments to the Foundation.
• For recurring payments made through Stripe, the first donation is collected on the day you pledge your ongoing support. Subsequent payments are made on the same day in the following months.
  The payment method details will be stored by the Payment Operator – Stripe Payments Europe Ltd.

6. The Foundation does not store Users' payment data.

7. Users have the right to cancel recurring donations at any time. To cancel a recurring payment, the User should notify the Foundation of their cancellation, in particular by email to [email protected], by sending a written notice to the address provided on the Website, or by phone. Once the Foundation receives notification of cancellation of recurring support, no further payments will be collected.

IV. Personal data

The Foundation, as the controller of personal data processed in connection with the operation of the Website, ensures compliance of these activities with the provisions of the law.
Detailed rules for data processing are specified in Information on the processing of personal data, also available in the footer of the Website.

V. Complaints regarding the operation of the Website

1. Users have the right to submit complaints regarding the operation of the Website by sending them to: [email protected]. Complaints regarding donations made using the Website's functionality should be sent to: [email protected]

2. The complaint should include:
a) name and surname or name of the User,
b) description of the reported irregularities,
c) circumstances justifying the complaint,
d) at least an e-mail address appropriate for contacting the User and providing the User with a response to the complaint.

If the complaint does not meet the above conditions, the Foundation will inform the User about the need to supplement it, provided that he or she has provided contact details.

The Foundation will respond to the complaint immediately, but no later than within 14 days of receiving it.

The response will be sent to the e-mail address provided by the User.

VI. Final Provisions

The Foundation reserves the right to make changes to the Regulations.

The Foundation may amend the Regulations in particular for reasons such as: changes in legal provisions, the need to adapt to decisions of administrative bodies, improving the functioning of the Website, increasing security, preventing abuse, technological or functional changes to the Website, introducing new services or functions, as well as changes of an organizational or identification nature of the Foundation.
