Magdalena Kruszewska is a new member of the Board of Trustees of the Universal Reading Foundation

Magdalena Kruszewska – psychologist, sociologist, entrepreneur and avid reader – has joined the Board of Trustees of the Universal Reading Foundation.

Magdalena Kruszewska is a long-time president and CEO of global pharmaceutical companies GSK and Sanofi, responsible for Poland and Central and Southern Europe. She holds the position of Chairwoman of the Supervisory Board of Infarma.

The Trustees are expert advisors, a group of people of public trust who have agreed to support the Foundation pro publico bono with their knowledge and experience. Magdalena Kruszewska has become the 29th member of the Council, which – thanks to the cooperation and support of people from very different sectors interested in supporting reading – is constantly growing.

"It's wonderful that we can count on the support of so many people who make up the FPC Board of Trustees. They are experts working in many, often completely different areas. Their help is invaluable. We warmly welcome Magdalena Kruszewska to this group, whose commitment to the Foundation means a lot to us," says Maria Deskur, president of the Powszechnego Czytania Foundation.

"The FPC Board of Trustees is an increasingly large group of people who care about the fate of reading in Poland. Their expert support is crucial and allows us to implement long-term activities," notes Grzegorz Majerowicz, a member of the FPC board.
