Webinar "Mindful Reading, or Why the Art of Slow Reading Helps Us in a Fast-Paced World"„

We invite you to participate in a free webinar prepared in cooperation with the Universal Reading Foundation and the Hestia Literary Journey.

I think we all feel it. In a world that accelerates more and more each day, it's difficult for us to find a moment to look carefully, breathe carefully, and even read carefully. Yet, it's precisely in this slow immersion in words that we find peace, meaning, and a deeper encounter with ourselves.

Our evening webinar, "Mindful Reading, or Why the Art of Slow Reading Helps Us in a Fast World," is a meeting for everyone who feels that amidst the sheer volume of information, notifications, and shortcuts, it is increasingly difficult for us to be present in words and texts.

The webinar takes place on Teachers' Day – a good opportunity to remind ourselves that we learn throughout our lives. During the meeting, we will explore, among other things, what slow reading actually is, how it affects our minds and emotions, how to practice mindful reading in everyday life, and how to rediscover the pleasure of engaging with literature.

The webinar will be led by Maria Deskur, president of the Universal Reading Foundation. Hestia's Literary Journey is a partner of the campaign. #TataTeżCzyta2025, in which we remind you that reading together is more than just learning the content of books, it is a simple, daily ritual that builds relationships, a sense of security and well-being of both the child and the adult.
We cordially invite you!
