Join the FPC team! We're looking for a fundraiser.

The Universal Reading Foundation invites you to join the team as a fundraiser.

FPC extends its sincere thanks to the EFC Foundation (Roman Czernecki Educational Foundation), whose support makes this step possible!

About the Foundation

We believe that reading changes lives – it helps us understand ourselves and others, provides a sense of meaning and security, builds bonds, and opens us to the world. Reading is an opportunity.

We work to ensure that everyone—regardless of age or location—has access to books. We support schools, libraries, families, and entire communities.

We build partnerships with publishing houses, local governments, companies, and individuals – so that together we can make a real impact.

If you believe that words have power and that fundraising is more than just collecting money, we invite you to join our team.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an expert to lead fundraising at the Foundation – building a strategy, developing relationships with donors, and creating effective campaigns.

You will bring know-how and experience, support our team, and share knowledge – giving direction and consistency to fundraising.

On a daily basis you will:

  • Create and implement individual fundraising strategy – with specific goals, but also with heart.
  • Talk to donors – those who already support us and those who don’t know they want to yet.
  • Run campaigns (online/offline), co-create fundraising and communication materials.
  • Take care of donor database, newsletters, forms, funnels and other things that help people give something good of themselves.
  • Collaborate with the design, communications and management teams.
  • Prepare reports, analyses and documents that show how much we achieve together.
  • You'll also serve as an expert, shaping the Foundation's approach to fundraising, sharing knowledge, and supporting team development. We'll build on your experience as we learn and develop this area together.

We are looking for someone who:

  • It has a minimum 2 years of experience in fundraising and can talk about it.
  • He can build trust – in conversation, in email, in campaigns.
  • He likes numbers, measuring results, Google Analytics, and understands how to connect data with emotion.
  • He writes lightly, wisely and sensitively – and is able to independently publish content on a website (e.g. in WordPress).
  • He understands how the NGO world works and wants to be a part of it.
  • Able to work independently, but also in a team.
  • He uses English at a level enabling daily communication and preparation of materials for international partners.
  • I feel that reading is more than a hobby – it is a tool for change.

What we offer:

  • Work that has meaning and real impact!
  • A warm, committed team who enjoy what they do and like each other.
  • A professional space managed in good style: efficiently and with mutual respect, transparently and with a common focus on the goal.
  • A work environment surrounded by interesting people from various industries
  • The opportunity to create something truly important – with us.
  • Space for your ideas and development.
  • Hybrid work model and office in the center of Warsaw.
