RaReaders, HarperKids and Nowa Era invite you from September for a new nationwide program I read it with joy.
I read it with joy is a program aimed at first-grade teachers promoting reading for pleasure and encouraging the creation of school libraries in first-grade classes.
The program was inspired by the claim that the ease of reaching for a book affects reading behavior. The constant presence of reading materials in many places in the school space - "at arm's length" - makes the sight of a book corner from the beginning of school education something natural and close to the child and arouses positive emotions.
As many as 1,000 first grade classes that will be the first to register for the program will receive a package of books from the “I Read to Myself” series for the entire class and a set of gadgets for carrying out reading activities.
The task of the program participants will be to organize a library that will live in the classroom and school space and/or a reading zone that will creatively implement the slogan that reading is an adventure and joy. The most interesting ideas will be appreciated and rewarded!
