The topic of reading in the Polish language exam is nothing new, but the topic of the future of reading is definitely a nice surprise. This is how it is in the trial exam Operon Publishing House gave young people the opportunity to reflect on the role of reading and the importance of literature, both for individuals and at the level of the entire community.
On the one hand, the reflections of the Nobel Prize winner, Olga Tokarczuk, on literature as a tool for understanding other people, on the other – the future of reading as the future of society, which she wrote about Maria Deskur, president of the Universal Reading Foundation for Literary Office.
Although investing in citizens' high reading skills should start very early - because then the impact on their development and building the habit of reading is the greatest, it is extremely pleasing that students entering adulthood could think about building their own skills through reading, especially in the era of digitization, AI, and fake news.
After the mock exams, it's time for the real ones. By publishing the text right after the Polish language exam, the Universal Reading Foundation wishes all high school graduates good luck!
