Polpharma – the leader of the Polish pharmaceutical market – supports the “Book on prescription” campaign

As part of the cooperation with the leader of the Polish pharmaceutical market, Polpharma, the Universal Reading Foundation and its program "Book on prescription" addressed to the medical community will be present, among others, live at medical conferences organized by the company and online, on the portal for doctors. Thanks to this, knowledge about active reading and its benefits will reach hundreds of doctors in Poland.

The first event where the "Books on prescription" logo could be seen was the Conference as part of the Expert Educational Program addressed to primary care physicians and family doctors, which took place on April 6-7 in Warsaw. This scientific meeting, organized by Polpharma for years, is recognized primarily due to the high substantive level of the lectures and the interdisciplinary approach. There will be over 550 people in the room and more in front of laptop and phone screens.

During the conference, Maria Deskur, president of the Universal Reading Foundation, took part in a panel discussion on the benefits of reading to children from the first months of life, together with Edyta Jungowska, actress, founder of the Jung-Off-ska publishing house. It was an opportunity to present the main assumptions of the program and the idea of "prescribing" it in this form of recommendation to parents and guardians of the youngest patients. During the conference, details of the project could also be found out at the "Prescription Books" stand, and information materials could be downloaded.
