The next edition of the Reading Rescuers program will start soon. For the fourth time, we will work together and support the expert-leader community to promote reading among children. In the upcoming school year 2024/2025, we invite you to take action under the slogan: "Joy flows from reading."
The main goal of this year's edition will be to create reference libraries in classrooms and common rooms, as well as to make books appear in school corridors. In this way, we want to show that books are a pleasure. Therefore, they should become a part of the school space, where students will feel the joy of reading and building a reading community.
Joining the Reading Rescuers program is an opportunity to be part of an expert community that supports each other in leadership, exchanges experience and knowledge, helps implement the core curriculum and increases children's chances for success. Participants in the program receive certificates for implementing its assumptions.
Applications for this year’s edition will open on SEPTEMBER 1, 2024.
Reading Rescuers is a community of educators-leaders who work together, supporting each other, to popularize reading among children. The vision is for students and teachers to develop comprehensively, to care for each other, to care for the world around them, to be able to talk to each other, to understand and respect each other. Reading books builds such communities.
