Prescription Book for Autumn Pediatrics 2024

While XXIII National Training Conference – Pediatric Autumn 2024, which is taking place September 20–21 at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre (ul. Marii Konopnickiej 17) we invite you to workshops of the Universal Reading Foundation.

Since its inception, the Foundation has been implementing the program Prescription Book. Recipe for Success, based on the experience and research of the Reach Out & Read Foundation. From the very beginning, the initiative has enjoyed the support of Prof. Barry Zuckerman – the first pediatrician who began recommending reading to patients as part of health prevention.

As part of the Prescription Book programme, we invite the entire medical community – paediatricians, family doctors, nurses and midwives, and all those working with parents and children, to support the habit of reading among children in practice.

This is to support the health and proper emotional and intellectual development of the youngest. Daily reading aloud to children and talking with them is an inalienable foundation for their emotional stability, social competence and intellectual development.

On September 20 at 6:15 p.m. during the Pediatric Autumn, we invite you to the Universal Reading Foundation Workshops:

(WORKSHOP ROOM No. 1, level 3)
Prescription Books, or How Doctors Can Use Books to Work with Children and Stimulate Their Development

Meeting with the participation of Maria Deskur, president of FPC and dr hab. n. med. Wojciech Feleszko (Clinic of Pediatric Pneumonology and Allergology, Medical University of Warsaw)
