The "Prescription Book" program invites the medical community to recommend reading materials

A prescription book. A recipe for success – this is the slogan of the Universal Reading Foundation program, addressed to doctors and medical staff, whose goal is to introduce reading recommendations into pediatric care.

The Gierałtowice Library recognizes this and encourages parents to read to their children daily. It has invited specialists to promote reading among patients in its offices and clinics. Doctors from Familiamed, Gminmed NZOZ, the "Nasza Poradnia" Family Clinic, and Stomatologia Włodarz have all joined the effort. They are reminding parents of their youngest patients about the power of reading aloud, handing out prescriptions with appropriate recommendations, and donating books.

Raising readers begins very early. Implementing such interventions is a key element of future pediatrics, as it supports children's health and development, supporting their psychophysical development.

FPC encourages all healthcare professionals who want to support the health and psychophysical development of their youngest patients to recommend reading and encourage such activities in their local community.

On the program page: www.ksiazkanarecepte.pl, you can find more information and apply for free packages of materials and books that will facilitate the implementation of interventions in offices.
