Book Ambassadors – about the psychology of reading

We invite you to a meeting at the Rental Office No. 69 for a meeting within the project Book Ambassadors, with the participation of Maria Deskur, president of the Universal Reading Foundation.

On June 24th, at Circulation Desk No. 69 (Kłosowa 6a), Maria Deskur, an expert in promoting reading and author of "The Superpower of Books. A Guide to Promoting Reading," will talk about the psychology of reading.

We invite residents, librarians, teachers, cultural animators, young people and anyone who wants to know how the written word affects our brain to the meeting.

Design Book Ambassadors It is aimed at librarians, teachers at all levels of education, cultural organizers, and others involved in promoting reading among children and young people. Its main goal is to develop skills in media literacy, the psychology of reading, pedagogy, and communication. The goal is for participants to become familiar with modern methods of promoting books and developing a passion for reading, including creating educational tools that engage and teach through play.

Design Public Library in the Białołęka District of the Capital City of Warsaw is implemented with financial support from the Cultural Education Fund.
