Recently, the Universal Reading Foundation, as one of the organizations taking part in an international project Books without Borders, participated in further inspiring workshops in Norway. The initiative is led by the FRSI Foundation.
Design Books Without Borders aims to support adults experiencing reading difficulties due to disability, neurodiversity, old age or health conditions, as well as people reading in a second language that is foreign to them.
The visit to Trondheim was an opportunity to exchange experiences and ideas, as well as to learn about service design tools and inclusive activities in libraries.
We presented the Bridges Series – 9 titles published as part of the project by FPC, designed according to the principles of universal design #SeriesMosty We had the opportunity to take part in workshops on books published by other organizations, as well as work with people for whom reading is a challenge for various reasons. We learned more about the activities of the libraries participating in the program.We are glad that #FPC can be part of such an important international project. Thank you!
