Dad

NATIONAL PRO-READING CAMPAIGN

Sitting, lying down, standing. On the tram, in the waiting room, in bed. Read! To yourself and, above all, to your child. At every stage of their development.

Children whose parents read regularly already understand twice as many words as their peers by the age of three! Reading influences development, stimulates success in life. It allows to understand ourselves and others; to distance from the hardships of growing up. It provides knowledge which goes with empowerment.

#ReadingDad is more than just a slogan. In Poland today, boys and men read far less than girls and women. One of the key reasons is the lack of male reading role models — and that’s something we can and should change. Fathers, uncles, grandfathers, older brothers, caregivers, coaches — this is your call to read.

what? how? why?

It is worth to read with your child

...because reading connects!

Currently we work on the fourth edition of the campaign
#ReadingDad

The campaign has an open formula – parents, libraries, schools and kindergartens, companies, cities and local governments can get involved.

During the three years of the campaign over 5,000 meetings took place throughout Poland with firefighters, police officers, foresters, but also ordinary fathers, grandfathers, uncles and older brothers were invited.

The campaign co-creates over 150 partners and over 20 ambassadors (actors, sportmans, influencers). The action supports a wide-range media campaign (digital outdoor, display, TV, and radio). The campaign was reached in 2025 up to 150,000,000 contacts with advert.

We encourage to use the free materials. The campaign is accompanied by a guide "Superpower of Books #ReadindDad" distributed in a print-run of 75,000 copies.
