Join a longitudinal study that will follow children learning to read over several years – from preschool age, through 1st grade, up to 3rd grade, when we will diagnose dyslexia.
To start with: a short screening test (approx. 15 min) for dyslexia risk.
The meetings take place at the Nencki Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw.
Benefits for parents:
– feedback from psychological research;
– initial diagnosis of dyslexia risk at the age of 5-6;
– diagnosis of dyslexia at the age of 8-9 (Nencki Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences);
– individual information in the event of detection of abnormalities in the brain structure;
– financial compensation (PLN 500 per year).
The first stage is the qualification survey on the website: https://orto.nencki.edu.pl/ Then, a separate meeting at the Institute will be held, where we will assess reading level and letter knowledge, as well as conduct an early dyslexia risk test. Only after this stage can children be considered for a longitudinal MRI scan.
