Reading connects, or the interdisciplinary dimension of reading promotion \u2013 Discussion panel for educators, librarians and reading promoters<\/strong> \u00a0<\/p>

We will meet to talk and together look for answers to the difficult questions that the modern world poses to us:<\/p>

\u2013 How to promote reading in times when books have such strong competition, and when electronic media and artificial intelligence are fighting for the attention of children and young people?
\u2013 How to speak with one voice about values and benefits in a polarized world?
\u2013 How, despite the permanent lack of time and resources, can we build alliances and enjoy shared successes?
The invited speakers include:
–\u00a0Magdalena Klepczarek<\/strong>, Head of the Department of Cultural Institutions in the Culture Office of the Capital City of Warsaw
–\u00a0Joanna Bancerowska<\/strong>, spokesperson of the National Centre for Culture,
–\u00a0Barbara Balmas<\/strong>, Head of the Krakow UNESCO City of Literature Programme,
–\u00a0Aldona Radomska-Paluchowska<\/strong>, Programme Specialist, ING Children's Foundation,
–\u00a0Maria Deskur<\/strong>, president of the Universal Reading Foundation,
–\u00a0Agnieszka Rasinska-B\u00f3br<\/strong>, Deputy Director of the Book Institute,
–\u00a0Barbara Sadurska<\/strong>, lawyer and writer.<\/p>

The panel discussion will be led by\u00a0Agnieszka Karp-Szyma\u0144ska<\/strong>, president of the Czas Dzieci Group, director of the Intergenerational Festival of Children\u2019s Literature \u2013 Fathers and Children.<\/p>
