We invite you to participate in the next edition of the International Campaign Reading in the Glade<\/strong>The campaign is aimed at students, teachers, the local school and extracurricular community.<\/p>

The campaign involves organizing a reading event on a single day chosen by the facility between May 5 and June 27, 2025, and it is held outdoors. However, in the event of unfavorable weather conditions, when it is not possible to change the date of the event, it can be held indoors. You can read any book.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>

The coordinator of the facility documents the implementation of the action in any way they choose, and then posts a short report of the event on the facility's website or on social media (without publishing the images of minors) with the hashtag #czytanienapolanie<\/p>

The campaign is open to all types of cultural and educational institutions (libraries, kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, educational and upbringing centres, community centres). The main goal of this initiative is to promote reading among children and young people, integrate the local community and encourage students to reach for a book in every situation and in every place. The campaign is not a competition and no prizes are provided. The institution taking part in the campaign will receive a Certificate of Participation.<\/p>

The originator and main coordinator of this initiative is Katarzyna Paliga \u2013 teacher-librarian from Primary School No. 29 with Sports Departments named after Alfred Szklarski in D\u0105browa G\u00f3rnicza. Co-organizers of the campaign are: J\u00f3zef Lompa Provincial Pedagogical Library in Katowice, Branch in B\u0119dzin, J\u00f3zef Lompa Provincial Pedagogical Library in Katowice, Branch in Sosnowiec and WSB Academy in D\u0105browa G\u00f3rnicza. Participation in the campaign is open, voluntary and free of charge.<\/p>

The Universal Reading Foundation, together with the Reading Rescuers program, took the honorary patronage of the event with great pleasure. This is an important initiative organized for a very good purpose, engaging socially and locally.<\/p>
