The Universal Reading Foundation encourages all book lovers to take part in the Lubimy Czyta\u0107: Book of the Year 2024 Plebiscite. As many as 140 book titles are competing for the title of Book of the Year. It is the readers who will choose the best books and audiobooks of the past year.<\/p>

Books by Remigiusz Mr\u00f3z, Dorota Mas\u0142owska, Jakub Ma\u0142ecki, Stephen King, \u0141ukasz Orbitowski, Yuval Noah Harari, BA Paris, Wojciech Chmielarz, Magdalena Grzeba\u0142kowska and many other authors are taking part in the 10th edition of the plebiscite organized by the Lubimyczytac.pl website. Books by 94 Polish and 56 foreign authors are competing for the title of Book of the Year 2024 and Audiobook of the Year 2024. The Lubimy Czytac website plebiscite started on Saturday, February 1 and will last the entire month. During it, every reader can vote for the best books of the past year. For 10 years we have been proudly talking about the largest readers' plebiscite in Poland. And these are not words without meaning. <\/em>
coverage. The ratings and opinions that Internet users post on the lubimyczytac.pl website, on which the nominations depend, are counted in millions every year. The votes cast in the plebiscite decide who will receive the statuettes. In last year's edition alone, a record 261,122 votes were cast. In all 10 editions of the plebiscite, Internet users cast a total of over 1.25 million votes. We are convinced that in this year's edition we will break further records<\/em> \u2013 says Izabela Sadowska, president of Lubimyczyta\u0107.pl.<\/p>

In addition to the Books of the Year, Internet users also choose Book Man<\/strong>. 10 people who actively promote reading online and offline are nominated for this title. The list of nominees includes well-known, popular and beloved journalists, podcasters, booktubers, bookstagrammers and booktokers. They differ in experience, reading preferences and promote books through different channels. However, they have one thing in common - they all like to read and encourage others to read. The next category is Screening of the Year<\/strong>, whose ambassador is Tomasz Raczek<\/strong>. In this category, the best film adaptations of books that premiered on Polish screens in 2024 are nominated. And here again, the decisions are in the hands of the voters, and the award on behalf of Internet users will be presented to the distributor by Tomasz Raczek.<\/p>

Audiobook of the Year \u2013 a new plebiscite category<\/span>
Silence on the bus, morning jogging, relaxation before bed \u2013 more and more readers choose audio books, which are becoming an inseparable element of everyday life. That is why, for the first time in the history of the plebiscite, audiobooks have gained their own category!<\/p>

For the first time in the history of the Lubimy Czyta\u0107 (We Like to Read) plebiscite, audiobooks have gained their own category \u2013 this <\/em>
proof of how important a role audio literature plays today and how many emotions it can deliver.<\/em> We are glad that Audioteka can patronize the new category and support the most willing <\/em>
listened to productions from last year<\/em> \u2013 says Jagna Wiszniewska, VP of Content, Audioteka.<\/p>

The final gala of the competition will take place in the multimedia space at the Pozna\u0144 International Fair. The event will be held under the Honorary Patronage of the City of Pozna\u0144, in cooperation with
partners: Pozna\u0144 International Fair, Audioteka and Pozna\u0144 Fair
Books. The live broadcast will be carried out by WP.pl and Lubimyczytac.pl, and the media patrons of the event are also Wirtualna Polska, City Marketing and Ksi\u0105\u017cki. Magazyn do Czytania.\u00a0<\/p>
