Since the beginning of September, as part of the program\u00a0Reading Rescuers,<\/strong>\u00a0The Universal Reading Foundation, together with HarperCollins Polska, HarperKids Polska and the Nowa Era publishing house, is implementing\u00a0"I read with joy" campaign\u00a0<\/strong>directed\u00a0to first grade teachers<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As part of joint activities, 30,000 books from the \u201cI Read Myself\u201d series and\u00a0<\/strong>204,000 materials<\/strong>\u00a0educational materials for children, teachers and parents, were sent to schools from all over Poland.\u00a0They will be used by approximately 25,000 students.<\/strong>, who will discover the joy of reading thanks to the materials received with the support of teachers! The packages provided are to be used to organize reading zones in classrooms with easy access to books, as well as reading activities around them. The aim is to build reading communities in schools!<\/p>\n

The strength of the campaign is the involvement of not only schools, but also broad inter-sectoral cooperation. The project partners are: HarperCollins Polska \u2013 HarperKids \u2013 publisher of the series \u201cCzytam sobie\u201d, supporting learning to read independently, and Nowa Era \u2013 providing logistics and promotional support \u2013 of the project.<\/p>\n

We are also particularly pleased with the interest in pro-reading initiatives undertaken by companies outside the publishing sector, which see that supporting reading is an investment in our future \u2013 the future of citizens and the country. The partner of this year's edition of the Universal Reading Foundation program \u2013 #RatownicyCzytelnictwa, is the Lajkonik brand.<\/p>\n

"We are happy that we can promote what is pleasant, what gives joy that people of all ages need, and at the same time take care of people, especially young ones - their development, future and success in adult life," says Joanna Sterna Senior Brand Manager.<\/p>\n
